Elections for the Students' Union leaders 2021 - 2022 was held on the 30th September 2021 via google forms.  The form link was posted on various WhatsApp class groups, and votes cast between 10 am to 12 noon. Counting of votes began at 1 pm and was livestreamed on the college youtube channel. The Returning Officer was Professor Vanlalringa Bawitlung, and the Assistant Returning Officers Zomuana Pachuau and VL Rorelfela.

The tradition of holding an open election campaign for all students was continued on the evening of the 29th on Zoom as it had been last year. This time however, it was conducted entirely in English, with Dr. Lalhmangaihi Chhakchhuak hosting the event.
