On the 14th July 2023, members of the college Traffic Management Committee conducted an awareness campaign in classrooms at Mualpui Campus concerning rules and regulations for parking management.
The Traffic Committee Chairman Mr. Zomuansanga and other Committee members gave parking instructions with pictorial and diagrammatic representations for both faculty and students in the classrooms. The students were instructed to follow the guidelines permitted by the Salem Veng Local Council and Aizawl Traffic Police within the Salem Veng locality.
Students who fail to comply with these guidelines and regulations will meet severe repercussions from the concerned authorities of Salem Veng Local Council as well as the institution.
Traffic Rules and Regulations
1. All students are notified to follow the traffic rules inside and outside the college campus (especially at Mualpuikawn, Zero Point)
2. Students are to park their vehicles only in the parking area allotted for them within the college campus.
3. Always wear a helmet while driving.
4. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
5. Failure to follow traffic rules will result in a fine of Rs. 100/- per vehicle.
