On the 20th April, a voluntary blood donation camp was held at the college by the GAC-NSS Unit. In all, 48 units of blood were harvested from student volunteers.
An awareness campaign had been held the day before where Mr C. Lalremruata from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare gave an inspirational pep talk. He informed the students that he began donating blood at the age of 17 and continues to do so at least four times a year. Thus far, he has given 61 units of blood and holds the record for being the donor with the highest unit of blood donated in Mizoram.
